My name is Melissa and I need help to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan for this beautiful baby Breezy! Here’s the back story. I bred my frenchie almost 4 years ago and I microchipped all of my puppies. With my name first so that if they were ever found I would be the first person notified. Years have passed and One of my puppies was paralyzed about 6m ago. Her owner said that she had a herniated disc and her vet said fixing it wasn’t a good idea. And well I just got a message on Friday that that baby  was found in Daytona. I contacted her owner immediately and was informed that she was re-homed a month ago. To a couple in Sarasota which is 208 miles (3 1/2 hr drive ) from where she was found. Paralyzed! How does a paralyzed dog move 200 miles??? Not on her own! I left work as quick as I could and my boyfriend and I drove 4 hrs to Daytona to bring home Breezy.  We brought her to our regular vet the on Saturday and got antibiotics for her because she has a bladder infection. I also have an appointment for Monday morning with a neurologist to have a MRI and possibly if there’s any chance to fix her spine, surgery. I am going to do whatever I can to give this beautiful girl the absolutely best life I can give her! Her spinal injury is 6m old so we won’t know if anything can be done but we need the MRI to know!
