Aiden’s Road to Recovery

On the morning of January 1, 2024, 17 year old Aiden suffered catastrophic injuries to his right leg from a fall during a trip to the desert. Aiden severed his popliteal artery (the primary artery in your lower leg), dislocated his patella, and severed all the ligaments and nerves in his right knee. Aiden was life-flighted from El Centro Regional Hospital to a trauma center in San Diego, where he would undergo his first of many surgeries. Currently, Aiden has very limited sensation and NO motor function in his right foot. Aiden has a long road to recovery that includes multiple additional surgeries and stem cell treatments. Depending on the outcome of his surgeries and how his body responds, he may need a prosthetic.
Aiden is in his senior year of high school and had plans to follow in his dad’s footsteps as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Those plans are forever changed as a result of this injury. Please consider donating to help contribute to Aiden’s recovery expenses. Thank you in advance for your support and prayers for Aiden!
