Rebuild my big brothers house!!!
Donation protected

Hi friends,
First of all let me say, my brother does not know I am writing this and most likely would not approve but little sisters don't really listen to their big brothers anyways...
The picture you are seeing is my big brothers' houses (yes, plural). They burned to the ground last week while he was away on business. He got a call that his houses were on fire. Because of high winds, firefighters were not able to stop the fire. It also damaged the surrounding houses. He lost everything he has ever owned or cherished in his life. Seeing the pictures is one thing but seeing it in person is so devastating.
He is trying to keep a positive outlook as he weeds through the ashes of what he once cherished. Our family is heartbroken for him as this kind of loss is overwhelming. The emotional repercussions can last forever.
Yes he has insurance but it will never replace what he has lost. 2 houses, all the contents, non-replaceable, personal memorabilia... He literally has the clothes on his back. (what he had in his suitcase from a 4 day trip to NJ)
When I spoke to him, he said "I'm upset because if I had been there, I would have run around and removed the important stuff' ....
It's ALL important stuff. Take a look around before you leave your house and imagine you come back to a pile of rubble with only the clothes on your back. That is his reality.
If you have some change burning a hole in your pocket, please help my brother rebuild. If you don't , that's totally ok, I just ask that you share this page:-) It would be much appreciated. He is starting from the groud up so anything would be helpful.
If you would like to donate something from the heart, think of all the things in the house he may have lost and create some special memorabilia for his rebuild...maybe something hand-crafted, something that reminds you of him or something you think he might be able to use in the future. You can send it to : 330 Shallow Shore Dr, Bellingham, WA, 98229
I know he is a strong person and he will get through this. With your love and support it will make a world of difference:-))
