Stan Tracz's injured farrier fund
Donation protected
Stan is hurt and needs your help!
Most farriers work until July 1st to pay off bills they incurred from the previous winter. On July 2nd they start saving money for the next winter. Recently Stan tore his rotator cuff working on an ill-mannered horse suffering from an abscess that required a hospital plate.
Simply put, a one-armed farrier is not worth a darn. Stan cannot work and will be out for 4 -5 months. He cannot work to save money for the upcoming winter let alone to pay his rising medical bills.
Stan has been a strong supporter of the AAPF and recently housed competitors for the AFA convention in Kansas City, allowing them to use all of his equipment for the annual contest. He has been a member of the Kansas farrier's association for a number of years. I know the late Steve Hays would very much approve of this fund and be one of the first guys to throw in.
If you are a farrier please consider donating the cost of a trim or shoeing. If you are a horse owner please consider donating what you can to a man who has worked vigorously for the past 41 years to keep horses shod and sound for people like you.
