Hello my Facebook peeps! Help me surprise my husband with this awesome electric beach wheelchair!

This beach wheelchair has been a dream of his for a while and I know it would it get a lot of use. I have seen so many pictures and heard many stories about his beach going days before his accident that left him a quadriplegic long ago, and he has not walked on the sand or a beach in almost 21 years. I know that of all the things that he would be doing in the outdoors, recreation on the beach would be the first one. This is actually partly for me, as I dream of someday walking along the beach with him. Until then, this would certainly float his boat in style :-). This would be perfect for a hard-working husband, father, teacher, and life tackler who really needs a break! His teaching salary is always spread thin and there is always something more pressing that finances have to cover.

He posted a pic on FB the other day of one he liked and I overheard him talking on the phone outside a few months ago with the guy that fabricates the kit for these chairs, so I know he's definitely interested. I fear he will never bite the bullet and actually get this for himself someday. With a little help from a lot of his fan club, I know this SECRET could become a reality for him! Please don't mention anything about it to him! I'll hide this post from him on my FB page and chances are he won't see it because he is rarely on FB.
