My name is Khalia, I'm from Altadena , CA. I'm starting this go fund me to raise money to help my mother get back on her feet in the midst of the aftermath of the Eaton fires. My great grandmother was one of the first few black people to purchase her home in cash during the mid 60's and since then it has been passed to my grandmother and now to my mother. Since the passing of my grandmother 2 years ago my mom has put so much effort to maintain the legacy and memories that this home has held for our family.
