Cannon Baseball Capstone

Our names are Justin Fromke and Jake Jenike and for our Capstone Project, we decided to give something back to the Cannon Baseball Program because it has been a large part of our lives for the past 6 years. The two of us teamed up in order to do this, and we decided to enhance the facilities for the baseball field and program. Further, we also decided to try and put together an Alumni Baseball game to reunite the past and the present in the program. To enhance the facilities, we set our minds on a few ideas. We have some smaller plans in place, involving game-day improvement, such as more music and a full time announcer, as well as some other field maintenance work. Our three bigger ideas, though, are the next steps in our project. The first is a windscreen that should cover the outfield fence to make the field appear nicer overall, with the second being implementation of padding on the backstop, which should help improve play during games. We have also already completed one mini-project, as we assembled a team which designed and painted a mural on the inside wall of our home dugout. So far, our overall goal of improving the baseball facilities is going well, and hopefully it will keep going smoothly.
