I am writing on behalf of Michael and Drema Jefferson. Michael was recently diagnosed with metastatic renal (kidney) cancer. Michael, Drema and Marina have been shocked by this diagnosis and Michael is currently undergoing scans and doctor’s visits with plans for surgery and chemotherapy in the coming weeks to begin. Although Michael is blessed with an employer who provides benefits there is so much left uncovered financially when the head of a household will need to be out of work for an unknown amount of time and insurance simply doesn’t cover enough. Many of you also know that the Jefferson family is very active with mission work and the youth at their church and have a strong faith in God. They are already seeing His hand over this situation working on Michael’s behalf. Please lift them up in your prayers in the months ahead.
