Hi everyone! My name is Nicolas Ledezma, and I’m raising funds to produce my first short film "El Bulto" my independent project that explores memory, guilt, and the weight of what a good part of the population experiences.

I need to raise around $2,100 USD with luck before filming to purchase certain materials for practical effects (and test them), pay the staff, etc. Filming is scheduled for November 1st and 2nd of this year. The remaining money will be used during filming, editing / post production and submit my short film at film festivals to compete.

Here I show you how the money would be distributed among each area of ​​the production of my short film.

Practical Effects – 40%

Materials, makeup FX, and special props that are crucial for the visual realism of the story.

Casting – 10%

Fair compensation for our talented actors, whose performances will give emotional depth to the film.

Catering – 10%

Meals and refreshments for the cast and crew during production days.

Production / Shooting – 25%

Equipment rentals, location fees, and transport during the shoot.

Festival Submissions – 5%

Fees to submit the short film to festivals in Mexico, the United States, and Europe, where we hope to share this story with international audiences.
