Help Buzz get the surgery he needs❤️

Hi everyone,

Im reaching out for support , for my dog Buzz. He’s just about to turn 7, and has recently been diagnosed with a ruptured ligament due to Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease (CCLD). It’s a common condition in dogs where the ligament in the knee gradually weakens and eventually tears — similar to an ACL injury in humans. For Buzz, the vets are concerned it has fully ruptured and surgery is the only way to get him back on his feet again. He is currently on pain relief medication suggested by the vets until I am able to put him through surgery.

He started limping suddenly after our usual walk last Saturday. I thought it was just a minor strain, but unfortunately the vet confirmed it’s more serious. The surgery and treatment are expected to cost up to £7,000, and without pet insurance, it’s more than I can afford on my own.

This isn’t something I’d normally feel comfortable asking for, but I need as much support as I can get to cover the cost. Buzz is more than just a pet — he’s like my child. He’s the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet, and his favourite part of every single day is going for a walk. Seeing him unable to do the thing he loves most, breaks my heart.
