On Dec. 4, 2021, my wife Sandy Funk was admitted to the hospital with covid 19. We were hoping it would be a short stay, sadly that was not the case. Within a few days, Sandy was put on the ventilator. She also had to have several valves put in her lungs due to having a collapsed lung and numerous other procedures to save her life. She was transferred to several different hospitals during this process. She has more procedures, including having valves removed from her lungs, as well as physical therapy so she can learn to walk and day to day functions. Sandy was finally able to come home with oxygen after being released from the hospital from a 3-month stay. Obviously, Sandy was not able to work during this time, and I never left her side, not knowing what was happening with her minute-to-minute health changes and condition. The doctors did not think she would survive several different times, but she is a fighter and thankfully pulled through. We are now left with basic household bills as well as astronomical hospital bills. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. We know times are hard for everyone and don't like asking for help, and we appreciate your understanding and help. Thank you for all the prayers and prayers to all.
