My brother was in a horrific motorcycle accident on the morning of December 14th, 2022. Since that day, he has been fighting for his life. However, we are extremely thankful and blessed to have him alive because we know many don’t survive an accident of this magnitude. I am raising funds on his behalf to help with the current and future expenses he has and will continue to have throughout his recovery. Unfortunately, the lady, who was at fault when striking my brother was carrying the bare minimum in car insurance ($25k). According to the attorney, he’s looking at close to nothing regarding compensation after everything is said and done. Miguel has been devastated by this news. Miguel has an above-the-knee amputation of his left leg, external fixation of the pelvis, pins in his left fingers (prognosis still unknown), stomach stapled, and burns throughout his body from the oil spill. Not to mention, the need for multiple upcoming surgeries and the daily struggle of healing and avoiding any infections with a compromised immune system.
