Hi Everyone,
My name is Marie Pudwill, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Naïma. Naïma is a bright 21-year-old living in Haiti with her parents. After years of uncertainty, we are thrilled to share that Naïma has finally been granted a work visa to come to Canada!
Her journey to this point hasn’t been easy. Life in Haiti has become increasingly dangerous, with rising violence, kidnappings, and instability making it nearly impossible to live safely. Her father, a carpenter, can no longer work due to carpal tunnel syndrome. Her mother tries to keep the family afloat by selling goods at the local market, but it’s not enough to make ends meet.
For over three years, I’ve been fighting to help Naïma find a way out, a chance to finish her education, chase her dreams, and create a better life not only for herself but for her family. Now, she’s finally been given that chance and she needs your help.
Because of the ongoing crisis in Haiti, there are no direct flights available. Naïma must take six different flights just to reach Winnipeg, Manitoba, where I live. We are raising $5,000 to cover her travel, relocation, and immediate settlement costs.
Every dollar you give will help Naïma leave an incredibly dangerous situation and take her first steps toward a safer, brighter future.
No contribution is too small, every donation, every share, and every prayer makes a difference.
Thank you so much for your kindness and your support in helping Naïma’s dream come true.
God bless you,
Marie
