Please let’s pull together. A disgruntled man ambushed & shot our puppy dog for no other reason than this monster doesn’t like us hunting. Shorty was chillin on his own property minding his business, when suddenly a heartless man on the other side of the property line without hesitation, shot Shorty (while he was standing in between two of His hunter friends)with a shotgun and took off running! He was going to let him suffer until he died! Sadly enough, it was actually Shorty's birthday. This man is on the run & police are looking for him. There is a $2,500.00 reward for anyone with information to lead to an arrest. More importantly, Shorty needs surgery. We were given two options. A few hundred bucks to have him put down or leg amputation which is several grand. Long live shorty! He has leg amputation surgery at 10 a.m. in the morning. 

Any left over funds we will donate to Tom Wood, a local Veterinarian & God Send, who rushed to meet us to assist in saving Shorty’s life. Such a selfless man deserves the good will of us all, as he was enjoying the weekend with his family beforehand. 

Shorty & his brothers and sisters, run deer to us to Harvest. We feed our families and we heavily donate meat to those in need or want as well as our local homeless shelters to provide food and ensure nothing goes to waste. For nothing, no charge we humbly provide for all we can. What can we say, Shorty and his pack have the biggest hearts. 

For those that don’t know, deer hunting is essential. High populations of deer destroy crops that feed your families essentially putting our local farmers with a loss of income to care for their families to. They can’t sell enough crop to return a profit from large amounts of damage. Keeping the deer population at bay by vehemently abiding by the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries laws and regulations, we do our part in helping out all around.

All of these puppies are treated like most kind souls treat their indoor house pets. Ac/Heat, clean living situations, yearly vet visits and astounding amounts of love, kisses and playtime. All from a group of big burley hunting men who wear their hearts on their sleeves. If you have never seen a big burley man play and love on a cute beagle puppy you are certainly missing out on a heartwarming moment.

Shorty also has some legal expenses to pay for, as he is fully prosecuting the heartless man who shot him while Shorty was walking on his own property with his friends and siblings. Please help Shorty get justice for him and all other dogs that have had to endure this. Shorty would like to set an example from his horrid situation, making others aware of not just the legal principles, but the proper way to handle things you disagree with other than gun violence and abuse as this is not any means of an acceptable solution on all platforms.

Shorty’s owners were given a short coming in this world and unable to bare children of their own. These puppies are their children. This is far more than a basic hunting horror……. hearts are crushed as their baby boy  has an outrageous journey to struggle and recovery of learning to walk again.
