Arnaldo Flores was an exceptional individual, earning widespread respect within Lone Star College and the technology community. His extraordinary skills were such that he could impress even Microsoft engineers, effortlessly tackling technical challenges that stumped them. Holding two LSC associate degrees, Arnaldo also successfully completed the inaugural Cybersecurity Bachelor's program at LSC, marking a truly remarkable journey.

Arnaldo's life stands as a powerful testament to resilience and unwavering determination. Shortly after marrying his wife Ruth, Arnaldo successfully navigated his way out of Venezuela before the nation faced economic collapse. This journey meant leaving behind family members, including his father, whom Arnaldo tragically would never see again. Arnaldo's exceptional self-reliance, supported by his family, is evident in his determination to teach himself English and master advanced technologies. His commitment to continuous improvement truly distinguished him.

Embarking on his career as a part-time computer technician at Lone Star College, Arnaldo diligently worked his way up, ultimately becoming the first Senior Server Administrator of the Technical Services Department. His kindness, willingness to assist others, and unwavering commitment to self-improvement defined his character. A devoted husband to Ruth and a caring father to Dylan and Kasey, Arnaldo was characterized by kindness, integrity, hard work, and the profound impact he had on everyone he encountered.

Dylan, Arnaldo's son, is embarking on his college journey at Lone Star College this summer. We kindly seek contributions to support and assist in his education.
