Heal Thy Heart

My beloved mother had to have an unexpected open heart surgery three weeks ago. For this I am thankful, it saved her life. My mother has spent over 20 years cleaning homes in the Erie community and is one of the best at it because she loves to do it!
The physical, energetic demands and nature of this work does not serve well during the recovery period. By doctors orders she will be unable to return to work for a 6 month time period. She does plan on rebuilding her clientele after her recovery but is in need of immediate support.
In behalf of my mother and in effort to help eliminate the threat of her losing her apartment (home) I am reaching out in hopes to raise $5,000. The amount raised is intended to cover the cost of 4 months of her rent and find a used automobile to help create a more efficient way of transportation for her.
My mother is always so quick to offer a helping hand to anyone she says "it gives me a sense of purpose to help others" I am hoping by raising this money for her we can remind her that sometimes our purpose needs to be as simple as feeling loved and supported. Heal Thy Heart.
