We are asking for support to fund surgery for our dog Lula. She tore a tendon in her knee and she is currently unable to use her back leg.
Lula is a rescue dog. Six years ago, she was found trapped under some railroad tracks. When she came to us, she was thin and terrified of people. It has taken years of patience from us and guidance from our other dog, Lena, to help her accept other people and become a part of our family.
Lula's biggest joy in life is running. And despite the fact that she is now 7 years old, she refuses to accept that she is getting older - she wants to run just as hard and fast as the day we met her. This makes it even harder to see her laying on the couch and staring out the window, longing to be outside.
Lula needs surgery to replace a tendon in her knee. This injury was sudden, and we do not currently have enough to afford her surgery and recovery. We would appreciate your support in any amount. Any remaining funds over our own costs will be donated to Puppy Love Pets Rescue or other local rescue agencies.
