I’m reaching a hand out with this GoFundMe to try to obtain funds for unexpected expenses that have come up. Many of you know Barbara Spegal. She’s a woman of many words and wisdom. She’s worked tirelessly and continuously for years, never forgetting to leave time for friends and family. She’s the woman that leaves her door open for everyone, offering food and comfort. She’d not only care for her family, but anyone she took under her wing. There have been countless times she’s been there for her community and those who surround her. We can’t express enough how much this woman has done for everyone around her, never asking for anything in return.

Unfortunately, a few nights ago, she suffered from a blood clot in her MCA which caused her to have a stroke, which led to an auto accident. She has been hospitalized and is receiving the best treatment we can find for her. However, her insurance has lapsed and we are going on day four of hospitalization. This has consisted of multiple blood tests, multiple scans, MRIs, and these tests and expenses are going to continue as expected. Family is doing everything we can, but without insurance , it’s getting pretty rough. We ask fellow friends, family, and those who aren’t family but are still held close to our heart as such to please donate towards her expenses. Donations will go toward medical expenses, moving costs, and rehabilitation efforts. She is unable to be contacted at this time but please, feel free to contact anyone in the family.
