Hi, my name is Miguel and I’m fundraising for an unexpected financial situation that my family is in. On February 1st, I was unexpectedly let go from my job of 4 years. It was a place I loved and gave my heart and soul to. Some of you that I was lucky enough to cook for , I hope were able to feel how much I love what I do. The process to for a new place is ongoing and can take upwards of two months in the process.

No one said living in NYC is easy. Paycheck to paycheck is the normal even when one is doing decently like I was. Just one week without pay is detrimental, let alone 8. Being the bread winner of a family of 4 makes things even more difficult but one must persevere.

I am asking for funds to get us through these difficult two months of unemployment. Any little bit will help and will be more that greatly appreciated. Once I land a job and on my feet again I hope to see your guys and have the honor to serve most if not all of you again.
