Care for Caleb

Caleb Ross Thompson was born on June 10th to our dear friend and fellow distributor, Paula Thompson and her husband Dave.  Many of us listened to her story just a few weeks back about the possibility of her little boy having to have surgery after birth due to intestinal obstructions.  While the first x-rays came back perfect, about 24 hours after he was born, Paula and Dave noticed something was "off" and had a second set of x-rays done.  It was then found that his intestines had never connected properly and he was rushed to emergency surgery that evening.  He has spent the last week in the nicu recovering and is heading home today. In about 5 weeks Caleb will be brought back for a second surgery to reconstruct his intestines and he will spend approximately 2 weeks recovery time in the hospital.

Paula and Dave are two of the most giving and loving people I have ever met.  They are incredible friends and are parents of now 3 beautiful babies.  It was a struggle for them to even agree to this because they have a hard time accepting help but in this case it is not only the surgeries and recovery time expenses but the travel, food and just overall living expenses that I hope we can all help with.  Every little bit helps and is appreciated by them more than you will ever understand.
