On January 30th, Joanne Creek was unexpectedly called to her home in Heaven.  Joanne was a vital force through out the Black Forest community;  well known for running the Black Forest Post Office and coffee shop, working at Lone Pine Real Estate and serving with Kit Carson Riding Club. Joanne was known for her lighthearted humor, kindness, compassion and most of all, her support. She was a prayer warrior and opened her heart and home to anyone who needed it without hesitation. She always saw the best in everyone she met. 
Joanne had spent years in and out of the hopital, often though Flight for Life after undergoing a triple bypass surgery and multiple back surgeries. She is survived  by her loving soulmate, five children and their spouses, seven grandchildren and all of the lives she undoubtedly touched.
We are seeking support to help cover some of the funeral arrangments. Due to her chronic health issues,  she did not qualify for life insurance. Donations will also help provide the family some relief from her unending medical expenses.
