Tried to save a life

On May 5th my husband recieved a phone call and went to help a friend work on his motorcycle. He finished the bike and wanted to come home to me and our 2 kids. we have a 9 month old boy and a 3 year old girl. 4 miles from the house he came around a bend and seen the glare of a car in the middle of the road. he then realized there was an ccident. Too late for him to avoid the crash or stop in time. He geared down and layed the bike on its side braced himself and slid into the crash. He then got up and heard someone drowning on there blood and another one screaming for help. His head told him to go help these people as his training in the military for 10 years taught him to do so. As he approached the vehicle to help, a car came from behind him running 45 mph into the motorcycle throwing it across the road and that car hit him head on throwing him underneath the already crushed dodge neon. Now my husband is 6'1" 230 lbs. That is not an easy task to do. Praying someone would come and save them from being hit again he heard a car in the distance bareling down the road, brakes locking up. He yelled to everyone, "everyone dont tense up were gunna get hit again". This car then hit them all head on at again 45mph and left the scene and has still not yet been found. The driver of the car died that night. All he tried to do was to help save these people and he ended up almost leaving me a widow with 2 yound children.
A fractured skull. Broken pelvis. A hip that the surgeons called saw dust when the opened him up to repair it. He is still at risk of loosing that leg due to blood supply and a donor bone. His shoulder is the same and wrist. a total of 31 pins and 13 plates to repair. He is unable to walk for the next4-6 months still. the worst part is the woman at fault of this accident stole the car and has no insurance. His medical bills for the hospital 2 weeks is $280,000. office visits so far reach over $7,000. Medicince the least amount of this all is $ 300. I had to have a nurse come in the first 2 weeks he was home cause caring for 2 young children and a man that is 100% dependable on me. Bathing, moving pillows, lifting, going to bathroom, cleaning up afterwards. Thats $15/hr. $5,000 for 2 weeks. The motorcycle was totalled $22,000. and i only have one vehicle and im unable to drive my children around in it. It has no airconditiong due to a hole in the lines. Its been 90-100 deg here.
He has been denied for disability, food stamps and supplimental income.
I am a stay at home mom who is disbaled with fibromyalgia, RA, RSD, herniated disks in my neck and back. I am now trying to find a way to take care of him my kids and find a job in our condition. i have been disabled since the age of 12. If i do get a job my disbailty and medical coverage will end. I need these to cover my treatments and meds. my husband does cable. He wont be able to work for atleast 6 months and from what the doctors have told us thats on a good note.
My birthday was the 16 of May. It was the worst day ever but also the greatest knowing i got to spend it with the man who gives so much to everyone. He has always dropped whatever he is doing when someone calls and needs help. Whether its running out of gas or to feed there dog. Fathers day i woke up looked at him and cryed. The thought of being without him and our children growing up without a father all because he needed to save somones life destroys me.
Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated and stored in our hearts for the time it beats.
