Hello, my name is Kaelyn. I am reaching out during the most difficult time of my life. I have been diagnosed with a rapidly growing brain tumor, and I am facing major surgery this coming Wednesday, July 2nd. The outcome is uncertain, and I won’t know how serious things are until after the procedure. The speed at which my tumor has grown has left me and my doctors very concerned. I will update here as I know more.

I haven’t been able to work since October 2019 due to my health. Despite applying for disability multiple times, I have been denied three times and am currently in the middle of another appeal. This has left me and my family in a desperate financial situation. We are struggling to afford food, keep our home clean, and even clothe ourselves appropriately.

As I prepare for surgery and treatment, I am especially worried about:

- **Having enough food while I’m in the hospital**

- **Gas money for my family to visit and support me**

- **Basic comforts like soft clothes and pajamas**

I am vegan, so I would be grateful for any help with snacks, candy, cookies, chips, or fruit that fit my diet. I also love pajamas and loungewear (XL), which would bring me comfort during long hospital stays and recovery at home.
