My name is Mohamed. I am 25 years old and live in Gaza — a place that has been under relentless bombardment and blockade for over two years.
Before the war, I lived a simple yet fulfilling life. I had my own small home, built with love, whose walls bore witness to the most beautiful moments of my life. Every corner held memories with my family and friends — from my little library filled with my favorite books, to the window where I would greet each morning with hope. Every part of that home told a story.
I worked as a programmer at a company I deeply loved. I poured myself into every project I worked on and felt a deep sense of pride each time I saw the result of my efforts come alive on a screen. My job gave me stability, the ability to plan for the future, and a strong sense of purpose. My life — though modest — was filled with security and ambition.
But when the war broke out, everything collapsed in an instant. My home — my sanctuary — was reduced to rubble. My job — the source of my strength and identity — disappeared beneath the ruins of the company destroyed by the strikes. In just a few days, I went from a life of hope and stability to a harsh reality I had never imagined.
As prices continue to soar and life under siege grows harder each day, I have fallen into debt and now struggle daily to afford even the most basic necessities.
Yet despite all this pain, I still carry great hope within me. I am determined to continue my education, pursue a master’s degree, rebuild my future, and one day give back to those who helped me rise again.
That is why I’ve launched this campaign — in the hope that compassionate hearts will reach out and help me endure this ordeal.
Your donation, no matter how small, can make a profound difference in my life. It could be the first step toward a new beginning — one free from fear, destruction, and deprivation.
