You don't need to go across the world to tell people who God is, when there are people in your own neighborhood and work place that don't know Him. Yes, this is a simple lesson I'm sure we've all heard before, but in these past two years, God didn't only tell me that truth He actually showed me what it is like to talk to those people in my neighborhood and in my work place about who He is. God has shown me that San Jose is my mission field, but He has also shown me how He calls those He uses away into seasons of equipping and refining so that at the end of those seasons they may return to do even greater work for Him.

I have recently been accepted to the Emerge DTS with YWAM located in Wollongong, Australia this July! My DTS (Discipleship Training School) starts on July 6th which is the beginning of the 3 month lecture phase of the DTS. In this phase I will be studing topics ranging from Prayer and Intercession, Knowing the Character and Nature of God, and Evangelism and Missions. Then on Sep. 27th we begin the outreach phase. We will be on the mission field for 3 months somewhere in the 10/40 window which happens to be where the most people groups have been unreached with the gospel. 

Now this is where you come in. Fortunately the US dollar is worth more than the Australian dollar so what I have saved will actually cover both my lecture and outreach phase, however I still need to get there! And I think it is going to take a little more than pixie dust and some happy thoughts to get me there. I still need funding for my round tip ticket from CA to AUS and the round trip ticket from AUS to my outreach destination.  So I ask that you would please help me get on those planes and enter into my season of equipping and refining for the ministry that is to be done in San Jose.
