Hello, my name is Josie! This past year has been extremely difficult for me. I have been diagnosed with cyclic vomiting syndrome and I started having really scary seizures. Some of these last well over half an hour.

My mommy is scared of me having a seizure in another room and she doesn’t know about it. During my last seizure I aspirated on my vomit. I am very lucky my aunt found me when she did or I may not be here today. My Mom and Dad’s biggest fear is walking into a room and finding me already gone because they were not there to roll me over or help me.

I am only six years old so I am unable to tell when a seizure is coming on. This is why we are raising money to get me a seizure alert dog. This would tell my Mom and Dad when I am about to have a seizure.

The training for the dog is $16,000. The other $2,000 is for the dog, its shots, equipment, and travel expenses to and from the training facility. We appreciate your contributions to make this happen!
