Support Rowan's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On Thursday, September 25th, Rowan was involved in a serious bike accident coming down Lookout Mountain that resulted in a shattered tailbone, radial/ulnar arm fractures, vertebral fractures, rib fractures, and internal injuries for which he had to receive donor blood and spent a few nights in the ICU. He has been in the hospital for the last week, where he underwent 3 surgeries in 3 days, and suffered from post-op complications, including needing another tube through his nose.

The Good News:
Rowan is now home-he was discharged one week later! He had three successful surgeries over the weekend - two exploratory abdominal procedures that confirmed no additional bowel damage, and a surgery to repair his arm. His surgical team is optimistic about his recovery and truly impressed with the progress he has made.

Rowan is showing incredible resilience. He's begun taking medications orally, completing breathing exercises, and is motivated to start physical rehabilitation.

Next Steps:
The focus now is on pain management and recovery. However, this has been an incredibly difficult time for Rowan, Jamela, and their families, so any support that you can give to help cover food, medical bills, etc. would be extremely appreciated.
