Baxter surgery cost
Donation protected
For those of you that know Tony & I, you know Baxter is our best friend. He moved to Southie and back with us and has kept us sane with his silly antics during quarantine. He may be aggressively obsessed with eating, but he sure knows when Mom and Dad need a good snuggle on the couch. Baxter has made many friends since I adopted him and I would certainly call him a small town celebrity. Friends run to him first when they come to visit. No matter what we are doing at home Baxter is always supervising.
Sadly as the last few days have unfolded we have discovered that Baxter ate something he was not supposed to. As I began unpacking everything Christmas from the closets, Baxter helped himself to a metallic, braided, string off of an ornament. After X-rays and care from his amazing friends at JM Pet Resort, it was decided the best decision for him was to go in for emergency surgery at NEAMC to see if he does indeed have a blockage. He will stay there overnight and hopefully be able to recover with his JM family in the morning.
I understand this year has been emotionally, physically and especially financially trying for everyone. We have all overcome things we thought we would never encounter. I am reaching out to my community of pet lovers to please ask to share and if possible donate to help with Baxter's surgery costs to help us provide the best possible care we can for him. Home just does not feel the same without him meowing at us for a second dinner. We would be eternally grateful to anyone who can help us bring Baxter back home safe and sound.
