Our beloved dog Cooper has been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease caused by a tumour on his pituitary gland. He bravely underwent brain surgery to remove the tumour and pituitary gland, but tragically developed pneumonia and pneumocephalus afterwards. Pneumocephalus is air trapped on the brain, creating dangerous pressure that has left Cooper unable to see, stand, or balance, and caused him immense pain.
For a time, Cooper was in critical condition and we weren’t sure he would make it. The surgical team is prepared to intervene if necessary, but in true Cooper style, he is fighting hard and showing signs of recovery on his own. We are holding onto hope that his incredible strength will carry him through to a full recovery.
Cooper is more than “just a dog.” He is my companion, my furbaby, and has stood by me through thick and thin for the past 10 years. Anyone who knows me knows my dogs are my life, and Cooper’s fight for survival means everything to us.
We are asking for help to cover the mounting hospital fees. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and help us give Cooper the best chance at recovery.
We are eternally grateful for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time.
Thank you for helping Cooper continue his fight.
