My name is Lisa, and I am asking for help during the most painful time in my life.
My partner of 19 years, Omar Padilla, the father of my children, was taken from us in a senseless act of violence. He was shot and killed, and our lives have been forever changed.
Omar was a loving and dedicated father to our three children, ages 16, 10, and 2. He worked hard to provide for his family and always made sure we were taken care of. He meant so much not only to us, but to his entire family. He was a proud father, a caring uncle to his nieces and nephews, and someone who always showed up for the people he loved.
He was also known for his funny sense of humor. He had a way of making people laugh and bringing light into any room, and that is something we will miss every single day.
Now, I am left trying to stay strong for our children while helping them cope with the loss of their father. This has been incredibly difficult for all of us, both emotionally and financially.
We are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses and to provide stability for our children during this devastating time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward supporting our family as we try to move forward.
