Kelly is an active, beautiful, and caring person who, at 40 years of age, has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, despite being otherwise healthy.

This is not Kelly’s first critical battle. She is currently in remission from Crohn’s disease, a journey that included a 30-day hospitalization when she was just 28.

But Kelly’s health challenges do not define her story. Her story is one of wholesomeness, perseverance, and joy.

Born east of Charlotte as the second child of two loving parents, Kelly grew up in a small town. She learned to dance, grow, and make her own way.

After college, Kelly explored various jobs, only to learn that hard work doesn’t always equal money, and money doesn’t equal happiness. At 38, she made a bold decision to leave corporate America and follow her passion: training dogs.

Kelly does not have a family history of breast cancer. She is in excellent shape, and you would never expect the tumor she carries…
