“In loving memory of Cathy Walters - A Devoted Mother, Oma, and Friend.”

With shattered hearts, we share the devastating loss of Cathy, who tragically lost her life in a recent accident on June 15 on Highway 87. At the time of the accident, Cathy was a passenger in the vehicle being operated in an unsafe manner by the driver.

Cathy dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren as a nurturing and beautiful mother and grandmother. Her love and compassion were unmatched. She brought warmth and light to everyone around her, and her loss has left a deep and painful void in all of our lives. There isn’t a nicer, more gentle person in the world than Cathy, and everyone who knew her loved her. Her boundless energy, laughter, and dancing made every moment unforgettable.

This sudden loss has left their family not only grieving but also facing a number of immediate and overwhelming responsibilities and costs.

At this time, we are raising funds to help cover the many expenses that come with laying a loved one to rest, which include cremation and memorial service costs, probate attorney fees to manage Cathy’s estate, time off work to handle legal and personal matters and additional end-of-life and unforeseen expenses.

Unfortunately Cathy did not have life insurance, and these costs have fallen entirely on the family during an already difficult time.

Any support, whether through donation, or simply sharing this page means the world to them. Your kindness and generosity will allow them to honor Cathy’s memory with dignity and love she deserves, while also giving them space and support to begin the healing process.
