Hello family and friends, near and far. Thank you all for taking the time to look at the fund page I've put together for my daughter and her sweet little family. Heather is unaware that I'm doing this and I thought it would be a sweet surprise for her and one less thing she will need to worry about :-) Heather has had so much love support and generosity from her many friends and family throughout her journey and I would love to call on you all once more to help Heather and her family, during another very major surgery that will take place next week on Feb.21st
After Heather's many surgeries at the onset of her breast cancer diagnosis, we were all very hopeful that her reconstruction would be a long term success. Sadly, the reconstruction over the years, has caused a lot of pain, discomfort and deformity as well as some signs of rejection. After many meetings with her oncologist and surgeons, she has decided to move forward with what is called a DIEP breast cancer reconstruction surgery. Heather's surgery will take at least 8 hours and is very in depth. It will require her to be in the hospital for 4 to 5 nights.
After everything that my brave, loving, funny, sweet and caring daughter has endured over the last almost 8 years, I would like to humbly ask for you to donate to the cost of her medical bills, so her family does not have to face any more hardship. Her recovery will be significant and hopefully, helping them with some finances will relieve some of the stress that they will all have to endure during her recovery. From the bottom of my heart please know how grateful I am for all the generosity that so many of you have already shown over the years, especially those of Heather's friends in the Foster City area (you know who you are ) I am eternally in your debt for loving and supporting her as you have. Let work together (hopefully) one last time to show her that her "team" is still behind her no matter how much time passes..
