My name is Carlos Garcia and I first came to know the Lord in 1987 in the parking lot behind the Golden Gate Theater where Pastor Mike and Donna Neville were pastoring Praise Chapel ELAC.
It was there I encountered the power of God and was changed forever. Shortly after that experience I knew I was called to Surrender my life to become a pioneer pastor. After meeting my loverly radical wife Carol who attended PC El Monte and being Married, we left to pastor our first church in Tacoma, WA at the
age of 25.
Well twenty years later. We have pioneered PC Bell Gardens, been Executive Pastors for my sister and brother-in-law Esther & Kelly Lohrke in Kansas City and currently assistant pastor for my brother Albert and Melissa Garcia in PC Anaheim. It has been a tremendous experience where the Lord has taken my family
and I these past 20 years.
It is with great excitement and vision that I share the new chapter in our life and our partnership with Praise Chapel. We will be planting a church in Miami, Florida
Specifically in the Hialeah area which is in the heart of Miami.
This is an area which is primarily 1st and 2nd Generation Cubans. It is an area where the English speaking 2nd generation Cubans are not being reached with the Gospel and is ripe and ready.
It is our vision not only to establish a church in this area of Miami but to plant churches in South Florida. The Lord has also given us the vision to reach into Cuba & establish churches in a country that has been closed for 60 years. NOW is the Time ! We must take advantage
and reach Cuba for Christ.
Being born in Cuba and coming to America in 1968 it has been the heart of my family and I to reach both Cuban Americans in Miami and the nation of Cuba. I come to realize that the Lord was preparing my family and I for the last 20 years for this season to reach Miami and Cuba for the Lord.
