Hello my name is Cathy Smith, I am from Alliston Ontario where Daimien and his family are from.  Daimien's mom, Kelly, and I are friends, we have played a lot of baseball together over the last few years prior to them moving to Alberta. My son Devin was also friends with Daimien. I started this fund raiser to help my friend and her family bring home a loved one. A large part the funds that have been raised will be used to fly Daimien and his family back to Ontario where they can spend much needed time with the rest of their family without worry. There will be a Celebration of Life for all to say good-bye to a young man that was taken way to soon. The funds will also be used to help support the family in anyway needed while they go through this terrible time in there lives. All the funds from all the amazing people that have donated will be set up to be transfered to Kelly and Shaun directly.
