This is for our Mother she passed away Thursday December 23,2021. Our mother was very sick throughout her life but, she was a fighter that wanted to stick around for her children. We had many frights that we thought we would lose her sooner but she did not give up. Although our mother was blind she always had a huge heart and always wanted to see the good in people. She was able to witness us growing up and become adults. She was able to hold her first grandchild in her arms and spend time with him. She wasn’t able to live life to the fullest however she did the best she can to enjoy what she had. Our mother passed away peacefully in her sleep at home. We felt an emptiness and disbelief that she was gone. But we had a comfort that she will no longer be in pain and will no longer suffer.

Although our home feels emptier we have tried to remember that we carry her inside us. We definitely have her stubbornness. We carry our memories of her and as unexpected as it was. With the time she had left she told us how much she loved us and how happy she was to finally be home. There’s so much we wish she could be here for. So much time we wish we

had, but all we can do now is be thankful for the time we had. There’s so much to say but no perfect words to say any of it. There’s so much sadness and we’re taking it day by day.
