Surgery for Rebecca


This remarkable woman, friend and mother is Rebecca.  She has lost 13stones 11lbs inspired by her daughter, who was nothing short of a miracle after Rebecca had been told she couldn’t have children. 

Rebecca has battled and survived eating disorders, anxiety and depression and she remains committed to training hard in the gym and eating well. She has committed her life to working in a therapeutic capacity in statutory services and charities where she has focused on helping others, and today she needs our help.

Sadly, after such an amazing weight loss, Rebecca is left with severe loose skin that serves as a reminder of darker times. Despite appeals over the last 2 years, her local NHS has refused funding to for the most urgently needed surgery to remove excess skin on her arms and legs as it isn’t covered in their treatment policy. 

So Rebecca has been left to raise the money for surgery herself. This is no mean feat, so let's help her reach the amount she needs to cover the cost of her surgery.

If we all give a little, we can change her life - she deserves it.

Any money raised over and above what is needed to cover the cost of the surgery will be donated to the charities BEAT Eating Disorders and the NSPCC as causes close to Rebecca’s heart.
