Hi, my name is Mïla and I am nearly 5 years old, I was rescued from a kill shelter in Bosnia 4 years ago by an amazing charity, Adoptapaws, I was then adopted by my lovely mummy Hayley who loves me so much and gives me lots of cuddles and kisses. I live with my mummy and daddy, big brother, sisters and I have 2 younger doggy sisters.
I love to run around and play with my doggy sisters, I also like to cuddle up with them and mummy. On Tuesday morning I had an accident at home while playing and I hurt my back which left me unable to move my back legs. My mummy rushed me to the vets and I was sent to a special animal hospital called Willows, after tests and a scan it showed I had slipped a disc which was compressing my spinal cord and I was taken straight for surgery. The cost of my treatment at the animal hospital is £7,500 and due to some miscommunication, my insurance didn’t roll over in November which was unbeknown to my mummy. I needed the surgery to be able to continue to live a fun life with my loving family and to not be in pain.
If anyone can spare some pennies and donate to help my family with my expensive bill, we will be extremely grateful, my mummy works so hard as a Teaching assistant in a primary school and my daddy is a butcher so they don’t have lots of money spare and any financial help from the insurance isn’t going to happen.
My mummy has given me such an amazing life so far and I’m happy I get to go back home and have many more happy years with her.
Any amount, however big or small, will be gratefully received.
My mummy and I would like to say a huge thank you to my rescuers, Adoptapaws, not only did they rescue me 4 years ago and find me an amazing mummy but they are helping me and my mummy to try and raise the money needed in which they have also contributed to despite the fact they are caring for so many other doggies (26+) they have recently rescued and have endless vet bills of their own, they are truly amazing.
Thank you
Mïla
