On March 29th, 2023, Kaiya Nyasha, a graduating Music Business student from Berklee College of Music, took to Instagram to voice her needs in executing a long-standing vision of throwing a music festival dedicated to the talent leaving Berklee: GradFest. In response to her pitch, the video garnered over 26,000 views in 48 hours and over 170 shares, with the accompanying page reaching nearly 500 followers. The message was clear: the people want GradFest.

GradFest is an event for students, by students aimed to unify the Berklee community through this shared experience. We strive to establish GradFest as an annual event, affording future graduating classes the chance to champion one another's artistic progress while applying learned curriculum in executing a music festival.

As you can imagine, putting this kind of event together is no easy feat; we are reaching out to ask for your support in making this event possible. Every dollar you donate will go directly towards funding stage and sound production, venue rental, other essential expenses, and GradFund: a donation fund dedicated to a graduating senior to support their post-graduation endeavors.
