Many of you have been asking about Delton, and I want to share an update from the bottom of my heart.

On October 5th, our sweet 6-year-old Delton was taken to the hospital for a nose bleed, and our world changed in an instant. He was diagnosed with APL Leukemia, a rare blood cancer that caused severe complications, including bleeding in his brain. This led to an emergency surgery where doctors had to remove a portion of his skull to save his life. All while dealing with difficulties of chemotherapy..

     Delton was in a coma for over a month the longest, hardest month of our lives. But through every tear, every prayer, and every moment of fear, he continued fighting in a way only he could, with the presence of the lord.

     Today, Delton is awake and on the long road to recovery. He is still in the hospital, still healing, and still showing us every day what true strength and resilience looks like. We’re holding onto hope, celebrating each small step, and staying grateful for the love and support surrounding him.
