Hi, we are Lamont and Latisha Major. We recently married April 2015 and just two weeks after our wedding my husband was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinmoa (Liver Cancer). This came as a complete shock to us, Lamont doesn't smoke nor does he drink. This was teriffying news to ours ears. Not just because Lamont is only 28 years of age, or we just gotten married and I couldn't think of living without my husband by my side, not because now I have to take on the responsibility of being a provider, but just 3 days after our wedding my granny passed away from cancer. I refuse to allow cancer to take another one of my loved ones from me. We called his family to the hospital and we joined hands and each one of us took turns praying to our havenly father that he would keep Lamont strong, sane, uplifted, and heal his body through the medications and doctor orders. That God has done and we thank and worship his holy name. Lamont's tumor has shrunk by 50% and August 21st my husband and I will travel to Duke University to speak with a surgeon see about removing the tumor. This has been a tough journey for us, one that we never seen coming. Although it's not over yet we have grown closer together as husband and wife, friends, lovers, and supporters. We now have a true understanding of unconditional love! We'd like to thank all of our family and friends for the love and support, it's meant the world and helped us to pull through. We are reaching out and asking for a helping hand to help us in our time of need to pay for medical bills, emergency room co-pays, doctor visit co-pays, prescriptions, etc.
Thank you for your help! May God bless you!
