Two weeks ago my mom, Christy Ford, was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. After meeting with the surgeon yesterday, we have decided to continue this journey with surgery which will remove at least the bottom lobe of her right lung, and possibly the middle lobe, including all of the lymph nodes that are infected. Unfortunately our family does not have the funds for surgery or chemo which will follow, so we have no other choice except to turn to our friends and ask for some support. Anything will help. We also ask for your prayers and hope that she recovers from this procedure and beat this cancer.
