Our basement was 3-4 feet under dirty water for multiple hours while we slept last night. Between Steve’s entire studio (where he worked his full-time mastering & recording job, where 95% of his gear for that job was stored), our kids’ playroom, and our storage room (full of winter clothes, extra toys, seasonal decor, craft supplies, etc.), plus the actual floor and wall repairs and replacements, we are looking at approximately $40,000 of repair, recovery, and replacement costs. Our insurance is going to pay “up to $5,000” (we’re going to be looking into better insurance).

Anything you can share will help us recover. All our neighbors on our cul-de-sac also had basement flooding and it seems like it had something to do with a pipe or pump or something, under the street itself.
