This is one of my sisters, Karen Austin.  She has 2 handsome little boys and a loving supportive husband. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago, which spread to her lungs and lymph nodes, considered to be Stage 4. She has stopped working so she can focus on treatments. This includes 2 breast surgeries, and various treatments for the other areas. It hasn't seemed to get it all, but her lungs have cleared. She is facing a possible third surgery for her breasts, and a few rounds of radiation to prevent it from progressing back to her lungs again. She is hopeful this can then allow her to be on just monthly maintenance. (It's very rare to have someone with Stage 4 be able to fight for this long) You can probably imagine the expense of medical bills of 3-5 days a week for the last few years. They have exhausted all their resources (and other's) to keep her fighting. Sadly, including their house too. If you have ever met my sister, you know she is the most selfless person, doesn't ask for help, and put all others first in every situation. Now I'm hoping, you and I together, can help Karen... wife & mother
