Sam's Dad was life flighted to the hospital on June 5th, 2015 with multiple health issues including a heart attack, organ failure and blood clot. His blood pressure would not stablize and the doctor's in ICU did not hold out much hope for his survival. Against all odds he is still fighting with the help of his family at his side.  It has been a series of one step forward in the fight and one step back. Here is where Sam's issue comes into play. After a rough year Sam does not have any days left to take off. His fellow workers are willing to donate days for him but this action was not able to be approved. With two small children at home Sam is not able to go without pay so he is faced with having to decide between being with his dad, when he is needed the most, and providing for his family. This is a decision that no one should have to make and with everyone's help he will not have to make that decision.
