For those of you who may not know my name is RJ and my dog Jake is both my best friend and most loyal companion.  We have been through a lot together and anyone who has seen us interact personally or via Instagram or Snapchat, knows we are completely obsessed with one another while sharing a truly deep bond.  Jake is a pitbull and we enjoy crushing the negative stereotypes his breed is unfortunately associated with.  He is great with all people and all animals.  He is very athletic and enjoys swimming, running, cuddling, and making new friends everywhere he goes.  Unfortunately Jake suffered a cranial cruciate ligament tear, most similar to a person tearing their ACL.  I hate seeing my boy in pain while limping around and being limited in physical activity.  Some nights he is noticeably uncomfortable, tossing and turning in sleep due to the pain in his knee.  A TPLO surgery is required to stabilize the knee joint and regrettably it is a very expensive surgery which right now is out of my price range.  Friends and family have given me the idea to start a Go Fund Me page in an attempt to raise the money for surgery.  I want the best for my dog as most pet owners do, and I would be forever grateful and indebted to all who make any type of contribution.
