Help my husband to fight cancer

I am in need of financial support from my friends to raise funds for my husband Ahmed - who is currently fighting a battle against terminal stomach cancer. He was diagnosed in September 2020 and has undergone many chemotherapy sessions but unfortunately, the first line of chemotherapy has not worked and now it has spread to his bone.

Due to the type of Cancer Ahmed has, the NHS has not offered alternative treatments such as immunotherapy or target therapy. The only option is the 2nd line of chemo, but we have been told that this is less effective than the first chemo. I have therefore no other option but to seek alternative treatment outside the NHS which is very costly.

We have seen doctors who use a metabolic pathway and have prescribed medication so that hopefully it will work alongside the chemo to make it more effective to fight cancer. A follow-up appointment is costing between £200 - £500 every two months and then on top of that the medication which has been prescribed costs approximately £90 a month. To fight cancer more effectively and to maintain Ahmed’s immune system during the chemo we have also been seeking other options such as herbs, organic food, IV therapy, oxygen chambers and nutritional advice.

Our household income is unable to cover these costs every month. Ahmed is no longer working and is on sick pay which will stop next month. We qualify for some government allowances such as Employment Support Allowance (ESA) and Personal Independence Payment (PIP), however, this amount is nowhere near to the salary he earned. I am still working, and that income is used towards paying the mortgage, household bills and bringing up my two children.

We do not have any other disposable income so that I can carry on purchasing these alternative treatments and medication. I want to do everything to save my husband’s life. I have put my ego and pride on one side and have started to ask others because I am in need. With the power of prayer, and alternative treatments/medication working alongside Ahmed’s chemotherapy I am hoping that he can be cured or even his life prolonged.

I want to raise some money as soon as possible to continue helping my husband to get private alternative medications every month and for him to continue with his private follow up appointments at this difficult time. This is the only hope we have as the NHS does not have other treatments as they do for other types of cancers. We are relying on this Metabolic pathway and alternative treatment/medications.
