our brother in need
Puts demands on our prayers,
our service and deeds
Be persistent and ask
study how you can help
And treat him
As if you were treating yourself
His health
And his future
Oh, Do not neglect!
For this sad lot of sickness
He did not select
However
If you would be without regret
Have the needs of the least
Of Christ’s brethren be met
There’s a saying from Scripture
That we reap what we sow
Let us sow in good measure
What we wish to see grow
Sow to help out a brother
Show compassion and love
Seek to rescue a soldier
Your reward is above
Of the household of faith
Is our Brother and friend
He is strong and is brave
Will be true to the end
You may not know this warrior
Yet is known to his kin
He is known as a soldier
In the army ‘gainst sin
Now he’s weak
and is wounded
Who will help him to fight?
Who will come to the help of the Lord
With their might?
Who will strive with their means,
With their talent and time
To the help of our brother?

Greetings, my name is Andrew. This is my Brother-in-law Dwayne. He has recently been diagnosed with a severe and life threatening illness. Alongside working he was studying to be a teacher. His condition has left him unable to work and to study formally. As his primary source of financial support, we are doing the best we can to provide for his needs; however, his medical expenses are much more than we can handle at the moment.
Dwayne needs help for traveling to and from his doctors appointments, for aid with following through with his treatments, for his prescribed medicines, and for other associated tests he will need to have done. He is uninsured and His ability to walk is very limited as a result of his illness; therefore, he needs to be assisted with traveling.
