The purpose of this gofundme is for financial support for the family of Arnold D. Paramo and Joanne M. Paramo. Arnold D. Paramo passed away June 7th, 2015 leaving behind a legacy of his four children: Nicholas, Merissa, Allison and Steven. Arnold was also a proud grandparent of 3 grandchildren: Mason, Madison and Madden; as well as 2 more soon to be twin grandchildren expected in August 2015. He was a proud big brother of 3 younger sibilings: Lisa, Audry and brother; and he was the son of Rudy and Concha Paramo. Most of all, I personally knew my father as a proud husband to Joanne Paramo for whom he dedicated his life and built his family with. Unfortunately, in October 2014, his wife Joanne was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. As she battled, and continues to battle cancer, one could see the phyical and emotional toll this event was having on him.
After battling various ailments for many years, the most critical of them being Congestive Heart Failure, Arnold suffered a major stroke in May of 2015 and did everything possible to fight his way back to health. It is with a heavy heart that his family and friends will attempt to have one last celebration of his life, his loving and jovial spirit, his selfless ways, his big heart, his hard work ethic, and his many wonderful quailties that we will all now miss as we continue on our lives journies.
As mentioned, the purpose of this account is for financial support to cover medical cost, funeral cost, as well as to help with medical cost for his now widow, Joanne Paramo, as she attempts to defeat cancer. We have purposely left the goal at $1 because the entirety of the financial burden on his family is not yet realized, and thus we do not know how much is actually needed. We can assure all who contribute that all funds in excess of the amount his family needs will be forwarded to a similar cause or another cancer patient. We, his family, greatly appreciate your generosity and prayers for him and for his family that he has left behind.
