Wheelchair Accessible Van

Hi, my name is Kyle I am 37 years old living with cerebral palsy, I am starting this fundraiser in hopes of raising money for a newer handicapped accessible van. Our current modified vehicle is a 2010 Town and Country, but has seen it's better days. It has nearly 200,000 miles, is severely rusted and none of the electrical adaptations work anymore. I rely on my wife or Mother to manually open and close the door and lift the ramp. I feel very fortunate to have had my current vehicle for the past 4 years as I am unable to transfer in and out of a regular vehicle. Having this van has given me the freedom to live life! I don't want to go back to living without an accessible van. It has allowed me to do things with my friends and family. My daughter will be 2 in August and I worry about missing out on the things in her life: doctors appointments or school events, picking her up from daycare, taking her to the park or future things in her life like school activities. Unless this fundraiser works out, I fear that day may be right around the corner...So I'm asking for your donations to purchase a newer, safer, accessible vehicle that will allow me to continue to live my life to the fullest and to continue to be there for my family so I can be the best husband and father that I can be..
